Hey y'all,

Got into NTU English (my A level subjects were limited) after working a few years. I found that I'm quite passionate about marketing after working a bit in IP firms and ad agencies.

So I'm thinking of switching to Business. Would it make sense to drop all my sem 1 modules and take biz electives right off the bat? Or should I tread more carefully in case my plan to change programmes falls through?

Good news for you since you are from HSS NTU. Students under HSS typically have to do 10 regular UE modules (totals up to 30 AUs) as part of their course requirement. Feel free to pursue your business modules. You can even take a minor in Biz. Why not take 4 Cores and 1 Biz elective every sem? If you were to drop your cores and fail to get a transfer to business, you will end up very lonely during your 4 years at NTU UNLESS you are the type that is proactive in talking to people
