Transferring whatsapp from android to ios

Yesterday, i just bought the new iphone 12 and when i was transferring my apps and files from my old android phone (LG V30+), i found out that i cant transfer my whatsapp messages and media as when i launch whatsapp on my iphone with my number, it couldnt find any backup. i researched for about 5 hours and from what ive learnt, android uses google drive to backup whatsapp messages while ios uses icloud. it is impossible to transfer within these 2 platforms. however, there are 3rd party sftwares out there such as backuptrans and drfone. not too sure about the credibility butany people claimed it works including some others on this forum. the app is pretty pricey at about $33++. im wondering if there is a phone/repair shop that offer this service. if not, is there anyone out there in the same position as me and want to split the cost?

I bought and transferred successfully using backuptrans for Mac.

I am willing to sell/trade my 2 extra keys with the WhatsApp business version.
