Travel Insurance Query

Im traveling with my 6 years old. Sometimes he gets sinus/adenoid problems. If he gets,it will be usually severe for 10 days to 2 weeks.

Is there any insurance which allows me to cancel my trip due medical condition (of course with medical certificate); whereby I can claim insurance for cancelled trip...like hotel, airline ticket, etc? Thank you.

There are a few u can purchase online. MSIG have promo now until 18th May. I just purchased it. Go to moneysmart.sg u can see the different travel deals and compare too. Hope it helps !

You can submit your doctor's letter, together with the dates and the conditions to the airline. They would usually refund you. For budget airline such as jetstar, normally they would refund you in terms of voucher. For full fledged airline, they would refund you back to your credit card, that you have used to purchase your ticket ...

For travel insurance, you would also need to submit your doctor's letter.
Normally they would cover pre-existing conditions.
