Hi guys, the lowest travel insurance I found for 2 is about $42 to $47 for November.

Where do you guys normally buy your travel insurance?

Normally buy aviva and msig, very good :)
so far so good :0
normally 4d3n is abt 23.75 for travelplus asean region
have terrible experience with ace :0 they took sooo long to get back to us lol

Used to buy aig. Then last two trips tried aviva and upcoming trip trying axa. Good thing about latter is that you can purchase for multiple adults in one transaction. All never claim before though.

jetstar taipei 55sgd, bought many tickets for next yr trip lol.
their bkk oni 64sgd two way nett taxes in lol.

sin to taipei fare: 0sgd
taipei to sin fare: 0sgd
taxes: 55.86sgd

however, bkk and hk taxes r higher than taipei lol ...
so noramlly if have promo would snatch taipei first lol
coz by default taipei, hk, bkk would be the top 3 to be snatched up first lol
if there is seoul or tokyo, best lol ...

my hk trip in nov ...
hotel is 5* royal plaza
we booked family room 35m2 with bath tub
one nite abt 220sgd ... so each person is 54sgd
if more people go is more worth ...

my taipei trip in sep
hotel is 3* diary of taipei
we booked double room 15m2
one nite abt 50sgd for two at ximending with breakfast

bkk 4 to 5 stars hotel
per nite w or wo breakfast is abt 40sgd to 60sgd per nite or more ...
if 3* hotel is abt 20 to 40sgd per nite ...

Spot on buddy, HK quite difficult to find cheap lodging especially along Kowloon MTR stretch.

beside novotel nathan ...
5 min walk to jordan mtr
booked during xmas period , stayed there few nites 25dec to end dec
price is 120sgd deluxe per nite for two with breakfast :)

few weeks back, novotel nathan have 40% discount with free bf
price is abt 150sgd per nite with breakfsat for two :)

I will consider anything $120 and below to be cheap for HK. However, it's so easy to get good accommodation in Taiwan and BKK with less than $100 per day. That alone makes HK damn expensive especially if I go there for a week.

Haha yup ... hk room small, so expensive lol
same as singapore lol ...
however, singapore 4 to 5 stars hotel at least bigger room size as a whole compared to hk ... my opinion :)

Have seen many promo by jetstar
their taipei this yr promo : 55 in apr, 55 last week, 85sgd in jul, 116 and 130+ in jul or aug ....
their hk this yr promo: 73 in apr
their bkk this year promo: 64 last week, 71 , 73 , 81, 95 , 105
their phuket this year promo: 71, 73
others countries also have lol :)

all two way nett taxes in :)

Yeah, I agree that most of my trips are Jetstar but I do get good deals from Tiger from time to time. Only flew once on Scoot so far.
