Just went Vietnam last Christmas. Highly recommend to bag pack and travel from hcm to Hanoi. Heard the countryside in between are gorgeous but unfortunately I only been to hcm and Hanoi.

Anyway, I have heard from a few of my friends who encountered snatch thefts there. One of them is a Vietnamese from HCMC who kena in Hanoi. Just don't let down your guard.
