Travel Laptop

[luvwings]

Hi

I am looking for a laptop, main considerations that I am looking at will be:

- Light and Portability (very important)
- Usage will be for travel use, abit of work to be done (words/ppt)
- Surfing net
- light programming (not a must)

No limit for a budget first.

Currently considering
- Microsoft Surface
- HP Specture 360
- Macbook (was initial consideration but the 1 port issue is an big consideration for me)

Those considered but dropped:
- Dell XPS
- Lenovo Laptops

Any advice is appreciated

Surface hands down for its versatility and portability. That said, like the MAC, it has a one port limitation as well.

LG Gram? Around the same price as Macbook.

looking at the upcoming surface pro 6.. just thinking if the ports given is it really a game killer.. currently only my phone uses usb C, and providing a usb 3.0 is actually better for me..

I wouldn't get a Surface Pro if I wanted to use it on my laps outdoors/during commute.

If no budget limits can consider X1 Carbon, but then you appear to not want anything Lenovo.
