I am considering a 29 Inch luggage bag. I understand currently Samsonite is the number one choice due to its durability, however, their price is slightly over my budget.

American Tourister series however has a few model which is rather affordable and are quite good. I've search around and found that Hush Puppies could be in the list as well.

Just hope anyone of you could share or recommend in this case.

some problems i encounter with 29 inch bags.. i bought a hush puppies 1 for my trip to america. some issues i faced are
1) i packed too much stuff. so the seams got a bit spoilt
2) very easy to overweigh. dunno is because of the large space available or the bag being heavy.

Not sure whether these will apply to samsonite. though i doubt so.

I think probably it's because of the buly size. Anyway, i'm seriously considering hush puppies

hush puppies warranty not bad.. i send to repair. wait a while there repaired ok liao. but would seriously recommend you get hard cases if you can live with the weight but would want a more durable case. though 29inch hardcase will be no joke weight wise. lol.

Hush puppies is cheap also. got mine for around 100 i think with TSA lock.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I saw one just now at Travel Store. It was very nice. But too bad they are clearing stock and it is kind of scratched. Intending to get the 29 Inch which is at $125

no prob.

some other possible places you can try looking for the hush puppies luggage. Tangs at vivo, ntuc (or giant or carrefour. cant really remember. one of those hypermart).

Sometimes got discount (eg. Tangs for citibank member). Tangs got more variety and stock.

I got Samsonite 29" starboard series, it cost 100+ USD (Soft cover).

1 problem with the 29" is the weight. Everything is good, except when i am at the airport, they weighted my luggage is 68 pounds, damn heavy.

Be very careful when you pack your bag, luggage too big, but cant pack many things because of weight issues.

Hi,

Where did you get your hush puppies luggage repaired at when its under warranty?

I tried googling for it but I couldn't find any websites that indicate, nor do I have any number to call.

Thanks.

I'm shopping for a luggage at the moment. Thinking hard case at leass than $100. Mid-size to small size put clothes and hair stuff that's all. Not a lot of things.
