Search some websites got that price , not sure reliable or not ...

I usually use skyscanner.com.sg for a quickie search. The prices do change though. I managed to ticket the flight, so I already have the e-ticket and MH reservation number.

How much and what sale period?

Just click on the Deals link on the top of MH website.

CNY Period is expensive as all the economy tickets are high priced, so went with Business Class on MH for $1172.10. :D

Swiss Air having promo to Milan, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Brussels, Madrid, for $9xx. Less than S$1000 taxes inclusive.

Delta is having promo to the US of A too. Certain cities can get $9xx, mostly hovering around $10xx, again, taxes inclusive.
