Travelling within TW

Hi all. I am planning a trip to TW and need help with travelling. Other than chartering a taxi at Taichung, I require a taxi from Flying Cow Ranch to Leofoo Village in the morning and from Leofoo Village to Taipei Main Station in the evening. Does anyone knows how much it would cost for these two trips? Do they use meter charge or an agreed amount?

I have only traveled within Taipei and this is the first time I am going to other cities but would be travelling with a small kid and two luggage so taxi would be the preferred way.

There is a driver thread that you can try to find a suitable driver. usually for long trips, it is per costs and not by meter.

Thanks. I've previously checked with the driver I'll be engaging in the Taichung portion and was told that single trips would be cheaper than chartering a taxi for these two trips. So like to get a rough idea on the cost of the taxi rides first.

Eg. from flying cow ranch to leofoo village will take 1hr drive on highway. This is about 83km. googling for taiwan taxi fares, this will costs nt$1743 by meter (52 miles).
