Anyone else notice a huge surge in tree chopping in their area?

Just noticed on friday (12 July) and today (13 Jul) wah all the contractors chop so many trees between the bedok-kembangan area.

Anyone has any idea whats going on? Isit masterplan or what. Walao singapore so hot still want chop so many tree
