Tri setup or Single 1440p

Hi guys,

I recently just ordered from Dell a U2713HM and still awaiting for delivery, so I'm thinking, should I return this monitor and go for tri setup of 23inch or 24inch? Which one will provide better gaming experience? I haven't try tri setup before so I'm not sure if I should make this move, since there's no frameless design yet.

Might get 3 U2312HM or

I'm also waiting for GTX780 lighting version with 6gb for the Vram if I'm going for tri setup.

Any suggestions? TIA

For me.. I wanted to go tri but heard of all the difference a 1440p monitor makes.
Purchased a Crossover 27Q and enjoying every single bit of it now. Tri-setup would be overkill for 27", but 23"... I don't know man I just cannot imagine how difficult it would be to play my type of games on a tri-setup. MAYBE a tri-vertical monitor setup would be better but the bezels are another issue for me.

Also, as above poster said, it depends on the games you play. I play Dota2 most and occasionally a bit of fps(bf3,l4d) so I guess a tri-setup wouldn't work for me. And heck a 1440p is really heaven compared to 1080p. 80% more pixels is crazy. Not to mention the Color on the Crossover 27Q is gorgeous - zero calibration needed.

I have Dell U2713HM besides my 27" 1080p panel...It is pain to look at 1080p after u try 1440p.

If you use iPhone, is the same feeling u went from non retina display to retina. The pixels on 1080p suddenly become very obvious.

if you can see individual pixels on a 27" 1080p, you are obviously too close to the screen...

It is. The diff between 1440p and 1080p is HUGE. Maybe seeing individual pixels is abit exaggerating, but from my perspective, 1440p is a new viewing experience for me. Enjoying it since day one and never going back to 1080p again, at least for gaming.

I have Dell 2711, 2408, 2412, 2311. I prefer 24" 16:10 for FPS gaming, 2711 for RTS. I find 16:9 in general too wide for FPS, I don't look at the edges during intensive BF3 sessions

I setup 2 x 27" 2560x1440 monitor. But after awhile, I want to try 3 x 24" Full HD monitor
