i guess the main attractions in Naha city is Shuri castle and Kokusaidori shopping street. most of the other attractions in Okinawa are out of the way and driving is recommended although there are buses. i recommend a day trip out to Nago for Churaumi Aquarium and Ocean Expo park

where is the Home of Doraemon?

It's not really interesting unless you are a fan of the author himself. Went as an doraemon fan and was utterly disappointed.

Sorry to hear that, hope u get a better job soon, and have a nice break haha.

Why don't u take a longer break in Okinawa, 3 days is too short, maybe 8-10 days to visits the islands and beaches?

chaotah, can elaborate on the details of the museum?

Oh, have u guys/gals watched the Doraemon movie? It is awesome! Especially so if u are a fan.

I watched the movie on the flight from Narita to Singapore

they showed the few gadgets that were very memorable especially since those chapters the movie is based on were the ones that I remember the most of...

that middle section where Doraemon comes to realize that he has grown fond of Nobita.... but it was too late...

man, I was seated on a plane with tears in me eyes...

Yes, the movie is really well done, in how they superbly linked up the crucial pivotal stories, the 3D animation, the voice acting, the music scores, good pacing of the movie.

Not that it has no flaws. I wished they could show more of the idiosyncrasies of Nobita's friends, like how Giant has this weaponised singing voice haha! And the reason why Doraemon has to return to the future was a bit weak, I feel.

I am a huge fan so I may be biased but this has got to be in the top two films this year which I have watched.

I must admit, I had some wetness in the eyes too. Happened when I read the manga in the earlier years and happened recently in the cinema.

Found a lodging in Okinawa.
One night only 2200 yen, no private bathroom though and a bit far from station..

Super cheap! (^_^)
