Long story short.
Computer Froze whilst playing DOTA. (Greyish white lines on screen) Powered down the computer, failed to start. (tried for multiple times, even reassembling the PC)
I troubleshooted the parts, tested RAM and drives (on another computer) no issue. Booted up PC without the GPU and it managed to boot up.
Which means. Possibly, My GPU is fried, My HDMI Cable is spoilt (unlikely), the PCI Slot on the motherboard is having issues. I will be trying with another GPU later to test the PCI slot... I highly suspect GPU problem, because there seems to be a thin layer of oil on one part of the GPU (dafuq I do not recall putting in any liquid into this PC of mine) GPU Model R9 280X Gigabyte.
Is there any other way to test the GPU? Or does anyone know any shops in SLS that can check/repairs? Also, any alternative recommendations in the market now, for GPUs
