Troubleshooting help?

Hi all, newcomer here. Apologies if this thread is in a wrong place/violate rules of this forum. Would like some help troubleshooting my 4 years old pc. These few days, I've tried playing games like dota2, only for the pc to just randomly freeze/crash (even the audio just jams/hangs). Anyone knows what could be the problem?

More details: after it self-restarts (yes sometimes it automatically restarts itself), the cursor becomes "laggy" too and i would need to manually shut down-boot up/restart again..

Most common issue during game play is GPU faulty but can be other thing too.

To be honest, I can't remember the exact specs of my cpu already given that it's been 4 years. However, I previously bought the entire CPU from Dell without changing any components, except recently when I changed the hard disk.

Assuming that it's the gpu that's faulty, will changing the graphics card solve the issue? Thanks a lot for your help

Recently helped a friend with a similar issue. Power supply fan faulty and overheating. Changed power supply and solved everything.

If really is your gpu faulty, changing it will solve everything.

Just wondering do you stay anywhere near east. If you do, I can help you take a look
