India is not happy about it, hope trump ask apple to exit tomorrow ...
Don’t rule out …

Vietnam already manufactures for-North-America-market Apple products, and Vietnam is 1 of the 1st countries that he proudly declared made a deal … Trump just need to say iPhones made in India will be treated the same as those made in China, then hosay liao.

Trump in his second term is really making more enemies than friends. What is he trying to achieve? How can America be great again with this?

They definitely show that they not only want to kawan kawan but more of adik abang with unker sam. But they put $ first. Sg does it as well, just with more tact. We kawan kawan with all the major powers.

Small impact to India since under 20% of India’s total goods exports, or 2% of its GDP, were exposed to the United States.
Mostly affected are gems and jewellery, apparel, textiles, and chemicals.
Tariff Exemptions for pharmaceuticals and semiconductors and electronics goods.

cannot wor without india
apple dont have enough capacity for eu and usa market together

hearsay iphone 17 going to have many version
hence china will have they own version with sim card small battery and different display vs the EU usa set

It's rumored that the iPhone 17 Pro models sold in China might use displays manufactured by BOE, a Chinese display maker, while the US and European versions will likely stick with Samsung and LG displays. This potential shift is reportedly due to Apple testing BOE's LTPO OLED panels for the Chinese market, possibly as a way to pressure other suppliers on pricing. However, the majority of iPhone 17 displays will still come from Samsung and LG.

India was likely enjoying the best of both worlds.
Maybe playing both sides and getting benefits to speak.

Cheap oil from the northern neighbour and unrestricted
import of items from the US Europe whose final destination
seems questionable at best.

Looks like they can't have their cake and eat it too.

India has nothing to worry because its domestic market is much bigger than its export to the US.

On the other hand, Trump just drove a key country away from the US, and push India closer to Russia and China.

Apple, which moved production from China to India for iPhones for US market, is pwned deeply.

Russia has always backed India as a leverage to suppress China. even BRICS is Russia pulled India in de. but now Russia is too busy with war to help India. so India now LL have to eat humble pie seek China's help.
