i have a usb3 64gb thumbdrive which is corrupted to the extent that it can't be salvaged by software techniques (drive disappears from partition page once recovery starts).

is there a trustworthy shop i can go in order to recover the data inside the drive? understand it's not gonna be cheap; just need a few suggestions on the shops i should visit. thanks.

The first thing you have to do is that, do not add fresh data on your thumb drive then try to use any data recovery software like “remo recover”. As my friend used this utility and recovered all the files in few simple step. It may aid you.

I usually recommend CBL if recovery is of the utmost importance.

If in not a hurry, explicitly tell them u do not need the "rush job" just ask for the cheapest solution. :p

They are bound by contract ( read the find print ), to recompense you in case an edison chen sort of event materialises.

If material inside is sensitive enough that might damage your reputation, look for companies that can be held accountable.

there's nothing P&C about the data inside, just that it matters to me.

what's their price range? (asked for a quote and waiting for their reply now) taking the above into consideration, would there be a better company to recommend then?

it's a japanese brand; not encrypted.

I have the data recovery tool to read flash chips directly. It is a non write tool and will protect your data integrity.
But I am not sure if the Japanese brands is supported.

If you are keen, please PM me for more details
