root cause is pappy open e flood gate and e infastracture no able to cope, transport, housing, costs of livin goin up, medical...
on his part, so long he cnt solve e problem, be it e cause can be from externally or historically, he is still highly pay and he is paid to solve e problem and not tell us e problem or ask us to solve.
just like a bad economy draggin for years, we cnt expect for yrs to wait for it to recover, whoever cnt solve need to go, next better player.. dat how e world goes. cnt do, dun block, step down, next one take over.. and e cycle just goes on just like e earth keep turning.
one thing sad to see from transport point of view, fail to see more takan on mrt which contribute e major problem, be it e cause is due to predecessor maintance cut cost managing or e 'big' backup support from behind or watever..
ppl not happy is seeing mrt taking huge profit , paying high pay, incentives, bonus, increment to top managent, cutting cost servicing like cable ties, and worst of all ,fare hikes.
not able to perform and not giving good services, still enjoy high pay and ask ppl to pay for fake increase.
baically e profit-orienteated mrt management shd review it operating stragetgy , is it abt profit or a public serivces.
do it need high profit, poor services and keep fare hike for public.

in fact i saw an honest person doing an honest job and trying his darn best...it is unfortunate that his position in the difficult role as transport minister did not allow him to shine, despite all his efforts..

i am unsure if you could find someone else to do a better job given the inherent difficulties in this job
