Hey guys,

Anyone been to turkey through tour agency? Do you recommend it? Currently looking at Dynasty Travel but might still wanna compare with ASA or Chan Brothers etc. Btw, can bargain package price with tour agent?

Also, anyone keen to travel together to Turkey? Friend pulled out cos she thinks too ex :( and if I go at single price it's more ex than twin sharing so looking for a buddy!

no one here been to turkey?
Turkey, a very historical, beautiful and large country. choose the itinerary depending on the number of days you can spare. if you don't like options then goes with Dynasty and if budget is an issue then shop around with the rest. However, the options for the hot air balloon in Cappadocia is a must-do. Cost around USD250 per flight which lasted about 30 mins. Beautiful flight over the ancient biblical city in the early morning.

There is this city called the Amasya which I highly recommend. But don't see them offering it. During, the recent NATAS, I saw an agency selling a package called "I Love Turkey" and they were the only including this Amasya City.

Good luck with your hunt.

My experience is majority of the tour agency offer almost the same itinerary, routes, meals, hotels etc.

Along the way, you could see the team from other agency.

Just pick the cheapest.

Most of the days the coach journey is long from a city travel to another city, need to bear with it.

Food is suck, this is what I can remember.

Where can i change Turkey currency?

I read in trip advisor that Euro$ can also be used in Turkey, is it true?

What thing is cheap to buy or good to shop in Turkey?

Many thanks.

Change USD in SG. Then in Turkey airport, use USD to change their turks dollar. Its a nice place...went during CNY 2014. Cheaper than other European package considered that its part of the Exotic Europe.
