Thanks for the suggestion, but we won't be using this behemoth as a monitor anytime soon.

Buy new one is one thing, but to have a recently replaced panel exhibiting this fault is extremely disappointing. Seems like planned obsolescence to me, given the extremely high cost of replacing the panel out of warranty.
That's why buy a good one.

Happened to my 55" LG C9 OLED a few days ago, already 2 months out of warranty.

Vertical white line which is visible across all inputs, and persists despite doing a full power down, software reset and pixel refresh.

Interestingly, I can make the line disappear (for a very short while) by applying slight pressure on the panel, near the base of the white line.

Researching online points to the inevitable that this is most likely a panel defect. What is frustrating is that the panel was recently replaced in July.

Now, LG is asking for a $170 on-site diagnosis charge, and a possible panel replacement fee of $1400++ (!!!).

Anyone encountering the same issue and found the fault to be something else instead? Mainboard? Wiring?

Don't really want to pay LG the diagnosis charge, only for them to tell me I have to pay more for a panel replacement.
OLED panel issue, can forget about repairing OLED panel.

Is it difficult to repair?
Have not try Xiaomi one. Has experience with LG and Samsung. Not hard, but need to be careful and LCD glass panel is easy to break if not careful. YouTude has many video on it.

Hi All,

Anyone can recommend which TV Repair company in Singapore can best do repairs on a Pioneer KRP-M01 Media Receiver? This Media Receiver is for the Pioneer KRP-500A Kuro Plasma Panel TV.

The issue with the Media Receiver is that it will keep going to Standby Mode when I press the Power On button on the remote control with a Blue LED signal flashing 8 times in a row on the Media Receiver. Based on what I’ve read so far on the Internet, it seems that 1 of the Voltage Regulators is faulty.

Can someone please help advise? Thanks in advance.
I had the same fault with mine and got it fixed by SQ Electronics and IT Services. Call 98539426 Mr Imraan

Any one have experienced contact to repair Sony TV? My 6-yr old 49x8000d has display flickering and red light blinking 6 times problem.
Power on for a few minutes, display flicker in dark - bright -dark -bright pattern, and then red light starts blinking 6 times.
Not using it for a few months and it might be working for a few days then the problem would come back.
Could be power board or back light issue.
