Happened to my 55" LG C9 OLED a few days ago, already 2 months out of warranty.
Vertical white line which is visible across all inputs, and persists despite doing a full power down, software reset and pixel refresh.
Interestingly, I can make the line disappear (for a very short while) by applying slight pressure on the panel, near the base of the white line.
Researching online points to the inevitable that this is most likely a panel defect. What is frustrating is that the panel was recently replaced in July.
Now, LG is asking for a $170 on-site diagnosis charge, and a possible panel replacement fee of $1400++ (!!!).
Anyone encountering the same issue and found the fault to be something else instead? Mainboard? Wiring?
Don't really want to pay LG the diagnosis charge, only for them to tell me I have to pay more for a panel replacement.
