There was a rumour circulating earlier that the West Coast MRT station would be located just outside West Coast Vale above the T-junction. However, it will still be quite okay for a shuttle bus from this area to reach the new MRT station in 2-3 min.

I think there is only the West Coast station (CR18) between Clementi (CR17) and Jurong Lake District station (CR19) based on the numbering. My guess is the West Coast station will be the exchange with another line in the long distant future.

The line would be the Greater Southern Waterfront line - West Coast to Greater Southern Front - Simpang.

Announced by LTA as a future line beyond 2040.
