父親李男三度下谷救家人的生死搏鬥​

據目擊者蔡姓男子的證詞，車輛墜谷後，李男曾經成功爬上邊坡，並向路人求救報案。然而，當他想到「孩子還在車裡」時，毫不猶豫地再次冒險爬下邊坡尋找家人。高忠德也詳細描述了當時的驚險情況指出，事發前30分鐘路況還很好，後來發生路基掏空，經過的車輛還有按喇叭提示，沒想到兩車會車時路面突然坍方掉下去，李男還從車內上來路面2次，可能為了要救人，第3次下去後就失蹤了。
