Types of Charger Allowed?

I haven't go Tekong yet, so I basically know NOTHING. Going Tekong on 5th August 2014 (PES C9L3). So most importantly, I wanna ask for my iPhone 5S, charger where u need use a USB cable allowed? Because I heard from some say cannot. Yet some say can. I also abit blur. I know the charger with the wire to charge attached is OK. But I don't want to waste $ to get new one. So I want double confirm. And if I need to get a new charger, anyone can suggest where to buy long-lasting one? Budget shouldn't be an issue, unless ridiculous amount.

Minor questions to add on.
If anyone got tips, what else should I bring that BMTC never mentioned? Especially for my PES? Maybe diff Pes need diff stuff? @.@
Also, how long do I need to stay in the camp? No where in any letter say when I can come out. Like that how to know how much to bring? So anyone know?

charger...depend on your OC... some allow...some dont allow...

if u scared of not enough battery...get a non smart phone... sure can last one...

febreze? last time can bring in... quite useful to make your cabinet nice smell if u got sweaty uniforms unable to wash after dinner.

alarm clock? if u are not used to the waking time. last time need to wake up around 5.30 am... got lots of people sharing the toilet so need extra time instead of rushing.

hansaplast? useful if got minor cuts... maybe can bring.

blue iodine solution if got minor cuts... maybe can bring.

yoko yoko if u got muscular aches...maybe can bring

your pes status relax ones... unless they change some... last time that status was listened to lectures ones.

I will bring sufficient chargers (But I still need to know if I can use those that need USB cable). Althought I will still bring my dad's Nokia just in case.

OC = Officer Commanding

Hierachy in BMT is

Recruit < Section Command (3SG) < Platoon Sergeant (2SG) < Platoon Commander (2LT) < Officer Commanding (CPT)

Ranks in parenthesis are the usual rank that appointment holders will have. but some may be lower or higher rank.

Aka he is the boss of ur bosses. There are people that are higher rank than him, but that's all you need to worry about.

Okay currently in tekong ptp

My coy allows powerbank with USB however no wall plug charger. My suggestion is you bring your powerbank and usb on enlistment day. Ask your coy CMS(Company Master Sergeant) or they will tell you if its not allowed then pass to your parents before they leave. You would want to bring 2/3 x 10400mah to last you 2 weeks...

Tips:
Dont bring big CV Bag as 1)you will have to carry you FP, DB and CV bag up the stairs at once & 2) 1st book out have to bring back all CV stuff.

Additional things to bring(my advice):
- Lots of underwear(10+ if you lazy wash )
- Febreze
- Good shaver
- Prickly heat powder
- Dry Snacks (Cookhouse food DAMM GOOD )
- Some meds (For cough, runny nose, sore throat)
- Hangers and pegs
- Fine tip marker
- Maybe story books to keep yourself entertained (Cos your pes abit relax )
- Muscle rub will be good

You will stay in for 2 week or rather 2 weekends. It will be long but enjoy your time and make good use of it to train.

I said count 2 weekends, the 3rd u should be out. so it should be 22 aug. BUT then again, since national day is in the middle, i am not sure what they will do for u

My power bank holds 14000mAh worth of charge. Confirm can outlast even the 2-weekend confinement. That's if I can even use it. My Desire 816 sure can last quite long with full charge, but being able to use the power bank is sort of an insurance that I can use it every single day until my first bookout.

THIS is what I got, if you're curious.

My main worry is about the micro-SD card. Without that = none of my own music other than FM radio. With only 2+GB left out of 4+ usable, no way I can squeeze enough into my phone storage.

But spend about $100 Stupid NS make me waste so much $$...
