U2414H vs U2515H

Hi guys,

I am currently looking for a monitor to pair with my rMBp 2015 model and PS4 in my college room. I'm deciding between the Dell U2414H and U2515H models.

My question is whether the price difference between the monitors is worth it for the enhanced resolution and brighter screen? And if anyone has any other experiences to share with these two monitors and why they choose that specific monitor? Also, recommendations for similar sized monitors of similar quality are welcomed.

the ps4 can only display max 1080p right? so i think save some cash and just whack a 1080p monitor.

What would the benefits in terms of the 1440p monitor with my laptop be? Extra screen estate?
