very exciting sound sig~treble is a bit of toooo harsh for me ~need 500h to 1000h to burn in ~ and ...it is damn expensive~!! for a portable can , HD25 and DT1350 are better choices~Just my opinon~LOL

maybe my ears pa jiao or what but when i tested it at jaben some time ago, i couldn't believe what i heard. it was made worse by the 2k pricetag. i thought it sounded more like a $200 headphones at best. but again, my ears could be blocked then

Local prices are close to it the last time I saw. Bout few yrs back alrdy though

Yes local sets retail price is $2099 for Ruthenium and $2399 for Palladium edition. =)

They have 5 years warranty locally from the distributor. =)

Japan just announced Edition 12 last mth. Still int in Ed 8? I prefer open-backed cans so will take Ed 10/12 anytime of the day.
