Hi all Hardware gurus. recently my back up pc (3 years old) has been giving me problem since 6 months ago.
the problem is that it takes very long time to reach the bios screen followed by the windows. i have tried many ways of solving it (resit the ram, unpluck and pluck the power connectors, dismount and mount back the processor), however the problem still persist.
now even worst. after i press the power button, the chasis will light up but will not even reach the bios intro screen. however sometimes it works as normal.
i am not sure what is wrong. can anyone help me on what should i do to identify the problem?
FYI my specs are:
asus P5KPL/1600 + E5200
2x2gb kvr ram DDR2
CM Extreme Power Plus 460W
Hitachi SATA2 deskstar 160GB hard disk
powercolour HD4730
