well, if u can cfm it boots into windows, then less likely problem is due to bios, mb, ram or gpu not detected by mb

and could be monitor or cable

if u got mobile phone, file manager or some network app, to access network places
if u can see ur pc online - means it boot into windows

Hmm i unplugged hdmi cable and cleaned both sides liao monitor and gpu side but still same prob.

But should be most likely gpu not working since the fan auto stop for no reason usually it doesnt stop

Maybe try to go nearby shop to grab a cheapo hdmi cable to try? You know like those cheapo shops. Else i guess you really need another gfx to test out. Maybe can ask friend help, else it's going no where.

Steps for troubleshooting is always the headache part when you don't have spares, i can totally relate to that during my early diy days.

Ps late reply. Try le. But still same problem.

No problem, it's not really that late.

No problem. Hope what I suggested doesn't sound nonsense to you as hdmi cable failure happen to me b4, but was on starhub tv set top though.

Ok should refrain myself for suggesting on this since lost touch since Athlon64 era.

Cheers.
