Unable to read system HDD from USB

Hi,
After upgrading my laptop with a new SSD anf windows 11 installed, I put the old HD to an external USB reader.
but window can't detect the the USB drive, it says the drive is not ready,. However it can read the the old HD another partition without problem. Only the main partiton that contain the bootup system that is unable to read from.
Why is it so?

Best is to put back the old drive and backup.
This can be many reason either the SSD got issue or the Windows got corrupted
thus cannot read.
