Unable to remove previous iPhone history

I was using iPhone Xs Max. Switched to iPhone 12 Pro Max

When I use Safari, i saw previous Xs Max (cloud) history. I have already factory reset my iPhone Xs Max.

I can swipe the history to the left & "close' it, but after i restart Safari, it reappears.

How to remove the histories?

Read somewhere it will go away after sometime.

There’s nothing much u can do since u have already factory reset your xs max

I also went to delete the Xs Max backup under “iCloud-manage storage-backups folder”

Did you turn on Safari sync under iCloud>Safari?

iCloud - safari : On
Now on my new phone: I turn it off

I think after deleting the Xs Max backup - solved . No longer appeared.

Should be becos you off it on your current phone since it's no longer syncing the Safari data. That's why.
