Unable to send out emails

All of a sudden I'm unable to send out emails on my macbook. Using the default Mail app from Apple. Anyone also faces this problem or know of a solution?

Try deleting the email account, reboot your Mac, then reinstall the particular email account.

It's an off and on issue that's been going on for some months. I've experienced it on laptop running Windows 10 using Opera Mail, sometimes on my iPhone. Lucky I've the Yahoo mail app on my phone.

I had problems today. End up i clear del email acct, clear cache and readd again
