Hi, Thanks for the help, download as per instruction, but when click on the app mkt nothing appear. Tried using 332211 also no use.
re-do it again.

when using 332211, make sure that you stand 2 meter in front of the box and aim the remote at the box. do not stand too close.

try a few times until it works.

Else, use your pc go to ub1234.com and download the ubtv, ublive, ubvod, old ubvod and install on the box. DO NOT install new launcher for gen7/8. don't have to install app market too.

As long you know how to use a mouse or tv remote controller you are good. If not just use voice command through Google also can.

I managed to sub svi. Far more superior in streaming than evpad and most likely unblock. I owned unblock many years ago and more happy with evpad than unblock. The unblock SW dead for no reason to end my "lifetime" subscription so I am not going back. My 2 evpad steams better anyway and still working after many years.

Now I need another box. Contemplating evpad 6p or svi 8p. Still deciding which to get.

I am also considering buying the svi sub as an add on to my existing evpad.

I have one ubox3, it is still working after 10 years. the latest ublive, ubtv, uptv, ubvod still working well on the box. the quality of latest version of software are much better than earlier version.

You can get svi go from shoppe Malaysia for subscription.

ubox on and off, sometimes thought died already than reset and reinstall work again.

Evpad or clone called Eplay so far most stable.

IMHO.
Not sure about AVR. Ubox 9 can pass audio via HDMI to PC via video capture.
Thanks. I mean are there Dolby Digital programs available on UBox 9, and if there are can the audio be pass through to an AVR (or PC) which can decode it into 5.1 speakers setup?

Am afraid I can't help with that. I think the audio to my PC should be some simple format.

Been using UB3 for more than 6 years. Very reliable and have probably watched thousands of movies, documentaries and Live TV programs. No lag or delay. One of the best thing I've ever bought in my life.

Friend asked me to watch Encanto and so checked out the trailer which was nice and colorful but the one in UB3 not so good. So thought its about time to search for new TV Box though UB3 is still perfectly fine. Decided on SVICLOUD 8P and WOW!! Picture quality is totally no fight! Realised I've been missing so much and already way behind. So far, watched Adam Project, Green Planet, Encanto, Blade Runner (4K), Don't Look Up, Back To The Future 3 (4K) and many many more and after every viewing, brought a smile to my face. Just regret that I didn't bought it much earlier

svicloud 8p is using h616 chipset, same as the latest version of ubox.

h616 boxes are cheap, less than $40 if bought from lazada. You should regret that you spent so much to get your svicloud, just because it offers better quality :( sorry that I made you smile gone from the face. :)

you will get exactly the same (good) quality on other $40 H616 boxes.

I notice that svicloud pays people to post good comments regarding their products, so I always read the comments with a pinch of salt.

I'm not being paid lar. Just excited. Anyway, I'm still learning about all these new things. Can these other boxes run the Yogurt TV App? If can, then you are right. Just get any H616 box will do

the only thing useful for boxes like ubox, svicloud is the bundled live TV app. The bundled VOD app, whether good or bad, is not important. buy these boxes solely for vod is a waste of money.

if you are interested in VOD, there are many cheap boxes available, using chipset like s905x3, s905x4. they offer high quality picture. there are plenty of free apps available with almost unlimited contents

for those who are willing to pay , netflix, disney+..etc offer wide selection too. these are not expensive too, but they required google certified boxes, again, google certified boxes are not expensive, cheapest is less than $40 and can offer very high quality picture.

Yesterday, I watched Earth: One Amazing Day 4K and my jaws dropped again. It is almost like watching on my 4K UHD Player, which is crazy. Makes me wonder. Does the similarly priced UB9+UBVOD or cheaper S905 boxes with free VOD apps you've mentioned have this documentary in 4K? Do they have Avengers, Marvel, Back To The Future etc in 4K? If the latter combo have, appreciate if you can let me know the free app name so that I can get a S905 box for my other room which is currently using the UB3. So far only found sites with Bluray 1080 content but 4K is so much better on a 65". Thanks for your help

The review of svi8p is actually quite good. Even live channels you can even roll back to watch if you miss it. Don't think other boxes support this. VOD also a plus point that constantly updated.

Myself using a Gtking S922x with paid subscription and double it as a retro game console.

I took out my old ubox3 to test this morning. no such problem.

to my surprise, the ubvod app on ubox3 now allows authorisation of other devices for watching movies/drama from ubvod. I can also chromecast/dlna cast the video from tablet/handphone authorised by the app. what I need to do is open the weblink in quickcast.

previously, it was for ubox4 and above.
