you can consider Acer V5-131-10072G50n. 11.6" model.
light weight, easy to carry around

ACER E1-431-20202G50MNKS
LENOVO S400-59370745

otherwise you can look at older models released in 2012 like:
Asus 1225B
Toshiba Portege Z835
Dell Latitude E6420
HP Folio 13
Lenovo IdeaPad Y570

These Year 2012 models should be able to last you for a few years

Lenovo is only 1 yr warranty. Extended warranty is expensive.

Sorry TS, need to "out of topic abit"

for extended warranty, its not about $$$. Its about what are being covered and the purpose.

the purpose for extended warranty is to waive off any initial service fees charged by Service Centers.

Even if a laptop comes with 2 year or 3 year warranty, which is a rarity today, especially if its not a Business-Level or Corporate-Level laptop.

nowaday, warranty T&C are quite specific, eg: 1st year covers carry-in and labour, hardware, exterior but not software. 2nd & 3rd year cover exterior servicing, less other stuffs.

So let's say if Lenovo gives 1 year warranty but if its international...It still beats a 1 year or 2 year or 3 year local warranty...
because if my laptop breaks down anytime or anywhere during that 1 year, I can simply bring my Lenovo laptop to any Lenovo authorized service center and get my lappie repaired...
