Undervolt question (LGA 1700 Intel CPU)

Thinking of buying H610 motherboard (possibly Asrock brand) and LGA 1700 Intel CPU (14th gen, not the K version).
H610 is budget chipset motherboard. It is not Z or B chipset motherboard.

Don't intend to overclock. But want to undervolt CPU so it won't run so hot (don't want to buy another CPU fan) and use less electricity.
I read that Intel blocked undervolting on the LGA 1700 CPUs.
Heard that if you try to undervolt CPU (even from the BIOS), will have serious performance penalty.

Anybody here who have tried undervolting LGA 1700 Intel CPUs, can verify if this is true or not?

Intel have T SKU but these T SKU cannot be brought through retailer.
Only branded like Dell, HP and Lenovo specific business desktop have them.
This is one option you can look at but the price of such low power desktop
can be quite expensive.
T SKU TDP is as low as 35 watt, alternative you can look at Intel NUC.

Use throttlestop and lower power limits

lower PL1/2 to 35W and you have a T SKU

I using 7800x3d and undervolt my cpu by negative 25. Undervolt gpu as well.

Power consumption drop alot while gaming. I think total watts around 250watt

Intel did something to 12th to 14th gen Core processors (something to do with microcode) that really disable undervolting. So Throttlestop program is not going to work.
Intel claims they block processor undervolting to prevent security exploits.

I'm unfamilar with power limits.
Am I right to say lower prower limit means the processor will not be able to Turbo so much?

yes 12th gen to 14th has voltage vulnerability
power limits adjustment is not affected

lower power limits = lower boost = lower temps

make sure the motherboard you choose lets you adjust watt. i dont think h610 can.

alternative is to get ryzen 7700 from aliexpress and a local asrock h650 motherboard.

Play around with ryzen master then make it permanent in bios
