Unexpected shutdown on laptop

Hello all, seeking some help and advice. I have been trying to solve unexpected shutdowns on my Lenovo laptop for almost 1 year already. The model is Y460P and the cpu is i7-2630QM. I have been experiencing unexpected shutdowns, at random duration. Uptime can range from 20-40mins. I have cleaned and re-apply thermal paste.

I use prime95 and heaven benchmark to stress the laptop. The shutdowns also occur at normal light usage. I have try playing long youtube videos as well as playing online FM radio just to monitor the shutdowns and yes, it does shutdown.

I am not sure what is failing... CPU or motherboard? Looking around if anyone had such experience or knowledge to share.

I use HWmonitor and temp readings on stress test is about 85 to 90c

Understand this is laptop issue but hope to seek the greater knowledge in this section. TIA!

Try to change the setting in power management (power option ) under Processor power management, change it from 100% to <50%.

I have the battery and power adapter attached during the tests. I try battery powered alone and it does happen. Same goes to the power adapter.

I will try the power setting now. I actually shift it to high performance.

I don't have a spare power adapter at the moment.

Change already still occur.
The system seems to shut down at 30mins mark. I have stress furmark as well and use the high temp test for prime95. The shutdown seems to occur at the same time range. Could it be ram or motherboard?
