Hi people. Just some questions regarding the difference between Poly and Uni.

What's the difference between poly and uni? Be it NUS, SIM, NTU?

Is it still the same like Poly, whereby you have 20 classmates to 1 teacher?

What about the modules? Is it around the same amount or so?

The environment, how would you compare the both?

Are there still CCAs in uni like those that you can join in poly? Are they roughly the same, e.g they way they work? Say for example, sports CCA.

Thank you~!

So sorry for the late reply.

The lecturers are from the respective universities which awarded the cert. In terms of the modules, it covered from wide ranges until specialised modules. The students come from all over the world and it will not be a culture shock when you enter the working society.

depending on which degree you are taking, some degree are project based while some are exam based. The ratio of student to lecturer will be about 20:1 depending on the intake.

Local uni also get students from all over the world plus student get to go for exchange. Local also get to go for industrial attachment. Even poly get to do so.

Exams wise same deal in poly and uni what.

Don't see why MDIS is a better alternative from the above explanation.
