i'm sure there's still a good amount of stock left for the collection, but in big sizes...

i believe i've said this before - production of the current +J collection has stopped, so how are you expecting a restock? get stocks from other uniqlo stores around the world? they've been selling the collection way longer than us, and sizes are just as limited if not already sold out.

i can see where you're coming from, but i don't think its a fair comparison since capsule collections like these do almost always sell out, whereas in tampines one's case, was a lack of staple clothing that their factories constantly produce.

good evening, thanks for your clarification.

i felt that they should have anticipated the worldwide rush for the +J products, prior to the production point.

i don't think its the first Uniqlo collaboration - no excuse as well..they've done many collaborations before, they should have known how well designer collaborations will fare in the market...i don't think Uniqlo will walk in with their eyes blind..

I find it ridiculous when Uniqlo SG, uses the media to yak about it's offerings and its entire +J stocks in a country cannot last for a few hours after 10am.

If it lasts for 3 days, fine. But for stocks to be completely gone, and not last til the full operating hours for a day..this is totally absurb.

As for the T1 issue, i felt that it was fine, if they were to be out of stock during the first few days, okay nevermind.

As for today's incident - I just felt so sorry for mothers trying to enter whilst pushing prams with kids, lethargic workaholics who joined the queue after work.

They could have done more. The queue could have been trimmed.....

Uniqlo's not a freshie in the business world...

anyway, to sum it all up, uniqlo could have done more to alleviate customers satisfaction..

peace.

apologise for my long winded message, and apologise if this sounds demeaning to uniqlo but i believe they need feedback.

if this keeps on going on, im sure everyone will be not be too happy....

The simi +J how much per piece oh??? $9.90????

$9.90?? no man, think you must have got it mixed up with the rest of the stuff they have on sale...

Shirts should be $70, same goes for pants and jeans i think... Blazers, jackets $200...

no $9.90 lah... if they sell it at that price, don't think it'll last 5 min... :s13:

it's probably just part of their marketing plan... the whole idea of making capsule collections "limited" so people feel the hype. i don't think it's a bad idea per se - designer labels produce their collections based on orders from their stockists - what made it bad in this case, was the lack of control by the management.

i understand this is the first time we're having a designer collaboration on sale in a local uniqlo store, but as you've mentioned the management should already have foreseen similar situations from the worldwide launch happening here.

so what went wrong?

- no restrictions of any sort was put on the collection.

- management fails to allocate stock to cater for media preview and on opening day itself.

i'm under the impression that the management is doing this purely for the profit, ignoring everything else that would probably have been too 'troublesome' to do (i.e. imposing restrictions on things like no. of items u can buy, etc).

yes, the collection will sell out anyhow, but the sheer inability (or ignorance) to cater to everyone - in the sense that everyone gets to at least go home with some +J - just proves how inept the management is at handling such collaboration releases. and "first time" is not an excuse.

since u really want to be judgmental about physique...

never assume that there's "good stock" just because you find items in your "regular" size. sorry, but the sad truth is that L/XL always remains on the racks for the longest time. and the tees? anyone who bothered to queue in the morning knew what they wanted from the collection, and boring tees weren't in that list.

"non-man" sizes? just because a man is skinny doesn't mean he's any less capable than you are in any aspect btw.
