since u really want to be judgmental about physique...

never assume that there's "good stock" just because you find items in your "regular" size. sorry, but the sad truth is that L/XL always remains on the racks for the longest time. and the tees? anyone who bothered to queue in the morning knew what they wanted from the collection, and boring tees weren't in that list.

"non-man" sizes? just because a man is skinny doesn't mean he's any less capable than you are in any aspect btw.

I actually meant that they were boy sizes... didn't once claimed that anyone in that size was less of a man... Mind you... who's the one who's judgmental? Who's the one rudely questioned? Women wear?

"anyone who bothered to queue in the morning knew what they wanted from the collection, and boring tees weren't in that list."
That's another judgment... to you... +J's plain tee is boring... to others, it may not... If that the case... Jil Sander mainline must really be boring to you too... Maybe you're one of those who likes something that boomz...

womenswear?

i'm sure there's still a good amount of stock left for the collection, but in big sizes...

this, is rude? if you were under the assumption that i implied you trying on womens clothing, i wasn't. at the point where i left the store, womenswear did indeed have a bigger stock left compared to menswear.

"boring", in comparison to the entire +J collection. and don't even start on the mainline sh*t, i've followed her collections long enough to know what she's about.

i won't go on about who's being judgmental of who, since there isn't going to be an end in sight.

I have to say that the MIJ selvedge jeans are placed in quite possibly the most inaccessible section of the shelves. Seems to be designed for humans with a height of 2.5m. Thanks, uniqlo.

And it was chaotic alright. Pure chaos yesterday.

the men's +J stock didn't even last for > 30 mins after the opening at 11am.
all thanks to super KS ppl who hoard +J items in baskets.

lol items all gone in 1/2 hour...we'll see resellers in hardwarezone/frontallabs in time...:o:o

it's probably just part of their marketing plan... the whole idea of making capsule collections "limited" so people feel the hype. i don't think it's a bad idea per se - designer labels produce their collections based on orders from their stockists - what made it bad in this case, was the lack of control by the management.

i understand this is the first time we're having a designer collaboration on sale in a local uniqlo store, but as you've mentioned the management should already have foreseen similar situations from the worldwide launch happening here.

so what went wrong?

- no restrictions of any sort was put on the collection.

- management fails to allocate stock to cater for media preview and on opening day itself.

i'm under the impression that the management is doing this purely for the profit, ignoring everything else that would probably have been too 'troublesome' to do (i.e. imposing restrictions on things like no. of items u can buy, etc).

yes, the collection will sell out anyhow, but the sheer inability (or ignorance) to cater to everyone - in the sense that everyone gets to at least go home with some +J - just proves how inept the management is at handling such collaboration releases. and "first time" is not an excuse.

agreed bro..

Im of the opinion that we should boycott resellers of the +J collection, who caused everyone the inconvenience of limited stock. If you bought 4 baskets of +J apparel, you jolly well wear that 4 bloody baskets

i think the preview event the night before isn't well thought of too, all the good +J stuff/sizes snapped up even before official opening.
