the stores in shanghai are also nicer.. the layout and decor is like the NY global flagship store

HK and Shanghai is China... Asia has many countries...just in case you forget, M'sia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei, Bruma and etc
So only 4 Asia countries have Uniqlo... Japan, Korea, Singapore and China...
I personally had been to the one in HK, Shanghai and Tokyo during my biz trips...

the cashmere sweaters/cardis are on discount, wanted to buy them but they felt very scratchy and not soft, think the quality has gone down? cos the cashmere sweater my dad got in hk 2 years ago did not feel rough and scratchy

also wore my +J skinny jeans out yesterday, i'm really disappointed cos the $19.90 offer jeans looked more flaterring on me. after washing both pairs expanded, but the +J jeans which are supposed to be skinny (all the runching at the bottom) now looks like a mess of baggy fabric

if you're referring to me, i always wash all my clothes before wearing, how can you not wash clothes not knowing how many people have tried on the clothes before? its just disgusting to me. also because i have sensitive ezcema-prone skin, which itches like crazy when there's alot of dust around

i suppose i should have known better, but i'm really disappointed in my +J jeans. cos i noticed a difference in the material used for my + J long sleeved shirts and the regular 29.90 one (material for the later is more rough and slightly scrtahcy against the skin) still happy with the rest of my + J buys though (vest, cardigan, pencil skirts x2, long sleeve shirts x2). i shall just have to refrain from grabbing everything in sight since these were bought at 313 during the first 2 days of opening

perhaps you can compare the tags on the cashmere sweaters... usually they would indicate the percentage of each material used... then you'll know why one is softer than the other...

it's all in the cutting to make one look flattering in jeans...

you mean both inclusive of the +J jeans expanded?? tsk... shouldn't have washed them if there's no need to... it's just sad considering you just bought them... even for the cheaper one...

thanks, although i'm pretty sure they were the full cashmere range (orginal $150 now discounted to $99.99) cos i've had my eye on them for a while

i'm okay with the jeans expanding (happens for alll uniqlo jeans afaik), so i bought them one size down to compensate for the expansion, just that now the +J one looks out of shape. yup agree that cutting and not price is important for jeans, just feeling heart pained that my more exxy pair is not as flattering since overall im happy with the +J collection
