Reporting from Stereo, Vivo city :s22:

*edited with impressions:

initial impression for the v2 after 30mins of listening with my zx2:

clean and extended highs,
sound signature is rather sharp and bright
not bass heavy, overwhelmed by the mids and highs. quantity bass but lack quality
analytical, but lack depth especially the bass which seems rather flat to me

Hi all,

Sorry for reviving an old thread. Just wanted to check if anyone knows if Stereo is still doing UM reshells? If they do, how much does it cost? Have a pair of TF10s I wanna reshell and UM seems to have great reviews when it comes to reshelling.

In that case, any recommendations of other places I can reshell at? I would like to maintain the TF10 sound signature as much as possible after reshelling as I still like how it sounds best.

It's a shame that Stereo stopped the reshelling service as they did a good job when I sent my TF10 in a few years back and also added a mid driver. Now it has one high, one mid and dual low drivers which I find it's perfect!

Think now you can still send in for resell via UM's website direct, without Stereo being the middle-man.

No probs! I find just adding a mid driver is the perfect combination for a quad-driver CIEM. But do take note it's not very cheap and I waited 4 weeks for mine to be done and returned to me.

Adding more drivers is also a personal preference but do take note also that it just adds up to the cost.

Really ah? I heard its UM's decision not to re-shell 3rd party brands so Stereo also lan lan..But they still re-shell UM own brand..if I heard correctly.
