Are clear shells prone to yellowing?

If I remember

I think the silicone ones are and they turn cloudy after awhile also

But most of the ciems out there are acrylic so won't turn yellow ba

I think will turn cloudy due to the dust and dirt. Actually for clear shells, will be prone to turn cloudy (heard from Kelvin). But wont turn so fast la, takes 2 - 3 years at least ba

acrylic. If u notice, even normal plastic after prolong use will turn a bit yellow. then plus the dirt and dust, cfm will look cloudy

hey guys, i've got a question..

for example i buy a jh16/ES5 2nd hand... then obviously i need to reshell to fit them into my ears...

if i bring it to UM for reshell, will the configuration of the ciem be the same as what i get originally from jhaudio/westone?

Similar configuration, mentioned by Fatal and ahbee they worked on a lot of reshell and they will monitor the chart on how it is supposed to sound. The sound difference will be +/- 5db max.
