How does the X3 fare against the big guns? AK100 and DX100 =)

I had a chance to try out AK100 and Fiio X3 at the recent meetup, just tested about 2-3 tracks each for a quick 'feel'.

They're not that much different from each other in a day-and-night kind of way. No immediate 'poison' or surprise, sounds very much like my Fostex HP-P1. (which I bought because someone on Head-Fi compared it in the same range as AK100/120 sound-wise)
