Yes the UM V2 cable will be available with recessed socket. However the item is not available from us yet.

Wanted to demo the mage/miracle but have exams next tuesday! Gonna hop down to stereo next weekend! Am i doing them justice if im using spotify premium from my s2 lol...the range of songs is just too good...

Judging from many posts on Head-Fi, Stereo's orders are unaffected by delays (8-12 weeks) unlike from UMGlobal/Aus.

If I ever order another UM CIEM, it would be from Stereo.

P.S. Stephen Guo is awesome too, despite being affected by the delays as well. However, all orders from Singapore has to go through Stereo, which is equally awesome.

The Marvel itself is $599. There's a free shipping this month which would cost $50 usually. For costs of artwork, glitter and others you can see from this list at our website. Ear impression would need to be made from an audiologist. They are not included in the cost as they are not made by us. Usually it would cost around $60+ to make a pair.

From head-fi, seems like they're quite sucky to deal with, and wait times are becoming increasingly long.

Do you guys how the additional driver will change the sound signature? More bass, clearer vocal or wider sound stage?

We won't know how the sound will be like after adding drivers. Very seldom got people add 3 drivers as the cost ratio will be . Westone 1 $219, Adding of 3 drivers, $639. However if you really are interested in adding 3 drivers we can check with UM if it can be done.

Just wondering... I'm currently still using Westone 3 which is more than 3 years old. I'm quite impressed with it for it is still serving me well for such long time.

If I were to add 1 driver, how will the sound signature be like compared to a 4 drivers UM earphone? Anyone, who did similar thing, care to share his experience?

For warranty wise, am I right to say that UM will only covered the added 1 driver and not the whole earphone? What are my options if my older 3 years old drivers were to break down? Can I transfer the working drivers or something?

Warranty wise UM will only cover the added driver. If other driver fail after reshelling, you can send back to UM to repair but charges will apply for replacing of drivers. Yes, $369 means reshell plus add 1 driver to each sides.

As of now they only add 1 driver to the Westone 1. But they did not tell us what driver will they add in. UM and us cannot guarantee that the sound will be more bassy, and if after adding of driver the sound is not satisfactory, UM will not be able to remove the driver thus refund will not be possible.
