I demo the mentor and placed an order for a CIEM at ION and didn't realize any problem with the demo set. maybe I m just not pro or listen long enough. maybe I am lucky but generally I find their services alright. Got some issue with my artwork and maybe they were not familiar with how the artwork is to be presented to UM lab. Hopefully I would have no issue with the artwork as thinking back, it does cost a bomb.

Artwork is ok as long as your picture is clear. Since they just print it anyway

the Mentor (demo) at ION got issue. i have raised the problem to one of the salesperson (spoke chinese, sounded chinese) who served me, and to another handsome guy who doesnt work at the front line.


***btw the initial salesperson who wore a beanie (i think it was a beanie), had an unpleasant attitude (like macham bo chup), which gave me a bad impression of him.

Was the issue resolve? We will run a check on the demo unit.

It was detected that there was channel imbalanced on the demo.

my report was that channel imbalance, left side sounded louder than the other side.

left side sounded much more fuller and lush compared to the thin side of the right side.

staging for vocals or any other main instruments was not at dead center presented in front of you, but biased towards the right side, which also affected the imaging of some sounds going left and right or right to left.
