can get through stereo?

What's the price range for one of these IEMs? And do I need a headphone amp to drive them?

Mentor is truly an awesome IEM. @ $300 more then Shure SE846, but sq difference are certainly more then price difference. Only thing mentor can't beat 846 is the bass. 846 sub woofer kind of bass is so far...unique. Not to say mentor has no bass...when there are bass in the recording...you will hear it low punchy tight and clear.
You don't need an amp to drive them but having one will certainly push the sq to a higher level. Like wise for cable and interconnect as well. I'm a bass head and ain't selling any of them anytime soon.![]()

if there are any area unfair in the comparison, mentor are on hybrid cable and 846 on copper. After 100 hrs of burning in. Mentor lead 846 by 7 lamp pole...yes including the bass. Why shd I listen to drum beat via a sub woofer if I can listen to the drum set right in front of me? Sadly, there is no way to go back to 846 now.if there are any area unfair in the comparison, mentor are on hybrid cable and 846 on copper.
