UniSim 2016 Intake via "A" Level

Cannot find a thread on UniSim 2016 intake from "A" Level applicants, so decided to create one.

My daughter was called up to attend an interview but it was not for a specific course, the interview is for entrance to UniSim.

So my questions are:

1) If pass this interview, will there be another interview on the courses she applied ?

2) what are the percentage of chances to get first or second choice in UniSim ?

3) what do they usually ask in the interview ?

4) if they ask why you prefer to study in UniSim rather than NUS, NTU or SMU, will the honest answer of because results cannot get into NUS, NTU or SMU be acceptable ? If not, how to answer this question ?

I can't comment on the rest but for #4, I really don't think such a response would do her any good (even if it is the most honest). Find out how UniSIM markets itself (you can go to their website for info) and use those as reasons, e.g. focus on skills rather than just knowledge. It helps if she is clear on what course she wants to do, especially if it's something like social work that the other schools don't offer.

My daughter went for an interview and was later told she was on reserve list ... Not sure why UniSim is so slow, until today is still on waiting list ... what are they waiting for ?

And since, my daughter got an offer from NTU today, she has accepted the offer ... so my daughter will never get an offer from UniSim oredi ?

So looks like we will never gonna know the outcome of her interview ?
