was thinking of planning a trip to UK- Manchester around early November. May i ask if i travel from Manchester to London, it can b done via bus rather than plane? Sorry quite noob to that place it would be better if anyone can provide a link for the map or smthg!

If you are on a budget, you can always travel by bus.

For me ne is better as it doesnt have much stop in between tho megabus is cheaper. Book early on as usually the tix is cheaper.

London to Manchester about 5 hours and quite cramped. (NATIONAL EXPRESS)

Why not book virgin train? Comfortable, fast (2hrs) and not expensive if go book online(can go as cheap as 16£ 2 ways)

thanks for all the suggestion. I take a look at virgintrain as i dun wan spend so much on travelling time. Any place of interest to recommend? anyone been to dere? For me my main motive is to watch a soccer match at manchester =D

Good experience! Remember check match timings before you book train tickets. Last time we last minute book match ticket then go back train station book train ticket (forgo our pre booked train tickets- Liverpool vs man u, too big a match to miss)... end up no trains after the match. Worst part is we have to check out of our hotel London and got private transport picking us up at 1pm the next day. Took the 4am coach back to London hahaha. Loitered around Manchester after the match from 11pm till 4am midnight coach full.

virgin trains is GBP152 for 2 from MAN to Lon Euston on the dates im travelling.

any cheaper options?

Is there a car rental co. that rent from Man and return in Lon?

GBP 79 for 3 places?!? best to travel by urself i feel, tour agent mid pay commission not kinda worth it...

Does the virgin train open till midnight? or 24/7?

10 days to travel are UK, worth it?
