iPhone 7 running iOS 10.3.1
tested with Starhub and Singtel sim card

my notebook connected to the hotspot goes on and off :(

No problem when using the sim card / hotspot from Andriod phone
Any suggestion?

* I have done the network reset too but still the same.

I have same issue too after upgrade from iOS9 to iOS10.

iphone 5S, SE and 6 will sometimes lose tether and cannot reconnect

solution:
press and hold sleep + home for 10 seconds to restart phone. then laptop and other device can connect again

U need to off hotspot and wifi then re-on hotspot together with the wifi in order for your other device to be able to see it .which is what I did every time when I try to give other device my network.

U can try Bluetooth or cable maybe? Or your LPtop auto switch to other wifi if last time u didn't set remember this network or your laptop was set to " auto connect to a stronger wifi"
