Hi,

May I ask if a GTX630 graphic card is compatible with my system? I've searched around the internet and it seems like it is not. Here are my system specs

- Asus M4N68T-M (internet didnt show that this is compatible, because this model is quite old, bought it about 4 years ago)
- Team elite dual channel kit, DDR3 1333GHZ
- AMD Phenom 2, Quadcore 965
- PSU: P4- 500 Watts

I'm currently using GT 220, which i feel is quite old, would like to find out if I can upgrade the card!

Thanks for reading :)

1)Your motherboard has a PCI-E X16 slot, you can put any GPU under the sun in your rig and it will work.

2)Why on earth do you even want a GT 630? That card is an entry level card and if you are willing to spend a bit more money, you can get a GTX 750 which has a performance that will blow away the GT 630.

3)What games do you want to play with your rig?

Haha, these days I don't play much games these days, only Dota 2 with friends. I'm thinking of upgrading because it seems my computer is starting to get more laggy, when i'm in game, and a there is a window pop-up, it takes about 5-10 seconds to get to homescreen, and in between, its just a black screen.

It wasn't like this in the past

*I have BF3 too, but was a little laggy when i played it in the past

At this point of time, which card to get if condition all the same, price/warranty etc.

GeForce GTX 750 Ti vs 660 ?:(

Download HWMonitor, take a look at your rig specifications and state your complete rig specifications here.

State your CPU, GPU idle and load temps.

Open your casing and state what brand, model no and wattage of PSU.

State model of casing used.

What is rig spec?

CPU, GPU idle and load temps able to get from HWMonitor too?

1) Look to the right of my post to see the definition of rig spec.
2) Yes, HWMonitor is used to monitor system temperatures too.
Load temps refers to the temps of the CPU and GPU when you are gaming.

1)Rig specs refers to the CPU used, the motherboard used, the RAM used, the HDD and SSD used, the DVD Writer used, the PSU used and the GPU used. Basicially, what components do you have in your computer?

2) That is still idle temps. Play a game of DOTA with the HWMonitor running to record load temps.

He still never say how much RAM he has and what HDDs and SSDs he has in the system. I think that this 'slowness' that TS has is related to the amount of RAM that he has or the amount of clutter he has in the HDD. His HDD rotation speeds also plays a factor.
