Never like uob as it's literally run like a conservative family business among the 3 local banks.

Relative asking. :o

Or vs dbs multiplier

You are many years late.... Used to be like crediting salary, plus credit card spending and another criteria will qualify you for higher interest rate for first $75,000 or something. It turns out to be like hundred plus or couple hundred dollars every month for your mixed vegetables rice to add fish.

Don't know what are the latest criteria and rates.

i compared OCBC 360 and DBS multipler , in the end i opt for DBS, easier to hit the requirement, OCBC requires average daily balance increase of $500*

*Increase your account’s average daily balance by at least S$500 from the previous month’s average daily balance. Average daily balance is calculated using the total amount of daily balances in your account divided by the number of days in the month. Please note this is not the same as month-end balance.

DBS no fuss, just clock $500 or more till $14999 (DBS house loans, paylah, DBS invest, salary credit) for the tier one.

DBS

quite easy for me to hit 2.4% , cos i got existing DBS house loan. I purposely sign up for a DBS Term life insurance (lowest price) to hit extra category. So I got salary credit + home loan + card/paylah spent + insurance + investment

OCBC, if OCBC, I think i can only hit less than 2%

No, no credit card is worth it.

Best is to use cash, don't even keep cash in bank, withdraw all out and close the account.

Times are bad, recession looming, high COL, all is doom and gloom!!!

If OCBC... spent $500 only get extra 0.25%

in theory most ppl can only hit salary ($1800 at least) and spend. 1% + 0.25%

if that savings account also use for paying bills, then difficult to hit the save portion. Need to have [average daily balance increase of $500*]

if managed to hit 3 salary + save + spend = 1% + 0.5% + 0.25% = 1.75%

if no insure, invest and grow, then gg.
