Can actually withdraw the amount that is not earmarked in practice, though the tnc say needs to maintain at least the average balance. So do it at your own risk

Going to be earmark until mid 16 Sept, if yours start in Jun

yes...earmarked this evening..

funny thing is, my ADB didnt hit 50k due to the stupid system didnt count 1st May as 1st day...but I still get earmark for 50k...not sure if it's my complaint to UOB works or their system not very firm on the ADB..

Anyone know if we have 150k earmarked, do we still need to maintain 1000 minimum balance in the non earmarked balance?

after that they chut stunt and changed UOB one interest and also EVOL cashback

:'(
That was the risk all along but gonna abandon the UOB One after the Evol nerf left a bad taste. Increasing the min spend and reducing the effective cash back, and having the audacity to brand it as "enhanced" was hypocrisy at its best. Would have been more palatable if they kept the effective cash back unchanged by up the min spend, or reduce the min spend and cap the cashback at a lower amount to manage their cost.

The 100k to 150k change and 5% cut to 4% was still reasonable given rates are coming down.

I 'emptied' out for June in preparation for Q3 savings promo... now with all these nerfs, maybe the bank will drop the promo rewards or... maybe not run the promo anymore?

might be time to move to OCBC liao lydat.

OCBC salary+save+spend is already 4.65%... might just leave the UOB 'ecosystem' if this nerf thing carries on...

ah ok..
I think most people already on both UOB and OCBC and wondering where else can park the money..

too bad moomoo 6.8% no more liao..next best will be MARI at 2.88% for large amount.
