UOB is not as friendly as DBS or OCBC. Both DBS and OCBC show u if your credit transactions qualify for bonus interest, so u can double check the credit card spent total before the month ends to confirm u will get the bonus interest.

UOB does not show u, so if they suddenly fix their system or exclude any transactions or u mixed by $1, u lose the whole mth's interest of about $150.

UOB, can u pls be more friendly or customer focus?
actually I missed once by $4 they still give me the interest
switch to keppel or some others lor

Hi Guys, recently applied for the UOB One account and the CC and found out that my CC card statement date is on the 12th of each month. Need some advice on how I should align my credit card spend to get the bonus interest for both the CC and bank account.

Do I need to get my $500 credit card spend in between the 12 Jan and 31 Jan to concurrently qualify for both the bonus interest for CC and bank account balance for January?

TIA!

You can always call and have them shift your CC bill cycle to match your ONE account.

Credit Card Rebate is based on Credi5 Card Statement Month.
UOB One Account Spending is based on Spending posted in the Calendar Month.

You can call in to request a change of credit card statement date. I changed mine to 27th of the month.

Any benefit to have it on the 27th, instead of at the end of each month(28/29th in Feb or 30th/31st for remaining months)? TIA!

I requested for 28th previously however UOB CSO mentioned that they don't have 28th as Statement Date.

For alignment purpose, you need to choose a day that is common for all the months.

Maybe you try requesting 28th and see if it's available now.

The CSO just told me she will be setting it to 31st of each month and for months without 31 days, it will automatically be on the last day of the month. Does this sound weird? Maybe I should get a 2nd opinion from another CSO by calling again.

They can set as last day of the month. No worries.

I have also changed my statement date from 8th of the month to last day of the month. No need to worry about rebate based on statement month and ONE account bonus interest based on min spend & calendar month. The 2 are aligned.
